Yona Roöri’s artistic methodology can extend beyond the framed artwork into architectural, spatial and public environments.

A site-specific commission can begin with a source that carries particular meaning for a place, organisation or community — a text, name, story, historical reference, cultural source or other selected material — and transform its underlying Visual DNA into a contemporary spatial composition.

The resulting work can be developed at architectural scale and interpreted through materials, fabrication and installation methods appropriate to its environment.

Projects may include permanent or temporary installations for public spaces, cultural destinations, hospitality developments, architectural projects and privately developed public environments.
