O Canada – Chant Voilé I is a poetic visual transformation of the Canadian national hymn. Through Yona Roöri’s symbolic encoding technique, the anthem is dissolved into an atmospheric column of soft lilac light drifting over muted earth tones.

This work belongs to the Encoded Expressions – Textual DNA Collection, where spoken language is veiled, softened, and restructured into forms beyond interpretation — into shapes meant to be felt rather than read. What was once a patriotic hymn now floats like memory: dignified, disembodied, and ungraspable.
